COMPETENCES OF THE SECTOR

The department for financial issues controls the implementation of financial management and control, carries out ex-ante and ex-post financial control, treasury operations, preparation, receipt, liquidation and control of accounting documentation, calculation and payment of salaries to the employees of the entity.

It also monitors the complete and timely collection of revenues, monitors the timely payment of expenses in accordance with the procedures for undertaking obligations and making payments, prepares a strategic plan and proposal for the Budget for the coming year and multi-year projections related to the budget, monitors the compliance of the execution of the budget in its entirety or for separate items with the procedures adopted by the head of the subject, prepares a proposal for amending and supplementing the budget.

Then he prepares the final account of the municipality, prepares an Annual Financial Report in accordance with the Law on Public Internal Financial Control, keeps records of the property of the municipality, the determination and collection of taxes, fees and fees that are revenues of the municipality, performs other tasks in the field of financial management and control.
